<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of stable transfer of liquid and rapid rewriting. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of liquid supply passages 35, 36, 37, or the like are provided on a lower layer, and a pixel 22 surrounded by a sidewall 6 is formed on an upper layer. Ink is injected from a flow passage at the lower layer, to the pixel 22 at the upper layer via a switching part so that display becomes possible. Ink injection operation is performed by applying voltage adjusting to wettability of the switch part. Therefore, a scanning electrode 43 and a switching electrode 56 are provided.
