<p>Device (10) for stopping a rove supply in a spinning or twisting apparatus after breakage of a yarn (11) at the output side of a drafting zone (A) which comprises at least a pair of front rollers (3, 4) and a pair of back rollers (1, 2), whereby the rove (13) is delivered in normal operation by a pair of feed rollers from the input side and is formed to said yarn (11) in the drafting zone (A) and whereby the rove delivery is stopped upon breakage of the yarn (11), the stopping device (10) comprises a mechanical sensing lever (7) with a sensing pin (8) being repeatedly in contact with said yarn (11) and said sensing lever (7) is pivotally mounted on a pivot axis (X), wherein said sensing lever (7) has a release lever (9) opposite to said sensing lever (7) which is provided with a longitudinal release part (9a) being in engagement with a spring-loaded clamp device (12) such that in normal operation of the apparatus said clamp device (12) is open and closes after the break of the yarn (11) through the conjoint pivot movement of said sensing lever (7) and said release lever (9) about said pivot axis (X) to firmly clamp the rove (13) at the input side of said drafting zone (A) before said back rollers (1, 2).</p> |
