Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a method for handling the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal comprises: multiple antenna matching networks, coupled to an antenna of the mobile terminal, each antenna matching network is applicable in bearing one or multiple frequency bands, and a selector, applicable in selecting one antenna matching network among the multiple antenna matching networks for coupling to a radio frequency transceiver circuit of the mobile terminal. The present invention achieves the effects of improved antenna performance, reduced debugging difficulty, and reduced debugging time.
