摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining quantity of one or more biomolecules in a sample by using a technique based on IR, a sample holder device to be used in such a method and a method for manufacturing such a sample holder device. <P>SOLUTION: A method for determining quantity of biomolecules includes steps of: (a) providing a sample holder with a porous membrane containing a hydrophilic area surrounded by a hydrophobic area for sealing a sample; (b) bringing the hydrophilic area of the membrane into contact with sample volume; (c) drying the sample volume on the membrane; and (d) exposing the sample volume on the membrane to an infrared beam containing one wavelength within a spectrum range of 4000-400 cm-1 or an arbitrary part within the spectrum range, and thus, an infrared absorption spectrum in which one or more absorption peak areas in the infrared absorption spectrum have correlation with an amount of one or more biomolecules in the sample is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
