<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication component which can be shared while maintaining the confidential state of different confidential information XY between the authentication component and an authenticated component, and can be authenticated by a small amount of calculation based on the confidential information thus shared, and to provide an authenticated component and an authentication method. <P>SOLUTION: The authenticated component comprises: a memory 11 for storing the confidential information XY and the confidential information XY<SB POS="POST">E</SB>, i.e. the confidential information XY encrypted; a random number A generation unit 16; a random number D generation unit 18 which generates the random number D configured of the random number A thus generated and at least a part of a random number B to be received; an operation unit 13 which generates the data C by performing compression operation of the random number D and the confidential information XY loaded from the memory; a data ν(ν has an appearance probability η of 1(where, η<0.5)) generation unit 14; and an every bit addition unit C1 which calculates the operation results Z by imparting the data ν to the data C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
