<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering system restraining a degradation of steering feeling that is attributed to rotation of a steering in the direction opposite to that of a steering torque. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer 32 is provided with an estimated motor rotation angle computing unit 41 computing an estimated motor rotation angle θm by integrating the amount of variation of the motor rotation angle of which the code is determined according to the direction of a steering torque T. The microcomputer 32 computes a δ axis current command value Iδ* based on the steering torque T, and outputs a motor controlling signal by carrying out current feedback control in a γ/δ coordinate system according to the estimated motor rotation angle θm. An output stop determining unit 71 is arranged to output a stop demand signal S_st for turning off all FETs 33a-33f comprising a drive circuit 31 when the δ axis current command value Iδ* is a predetermined current value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
