Connecting device for aircraft fuel lines

The device has male and female end fittings (3, 4) made of highly resistive material and designed to be bonded at ends of piping tubes (1) and/or of piping connectors, where bonding of the end fittings on the tubes and the connectors is realized using epoxy/silver adhesive. The highly resistive material is an insulating material loaded with conducting fibers e.g. carbon and glass fibers. The conductive fibers are short fibers including carbon and/or graphite and/or PTFE. The end fittings have metallization tabs (10) to receive grounding braids (11) connected to the tubes. The insulating material is Polyether ether ketone(RTM: colorless organic polymer thermoplastics).
