PURPOSE: A rotary thrombus removal catheter is provided to minimize damage to blood vessel injuries and to effectively remove thrombus. CONSTITUTION: A rotary thrombus removal catheter comprises a guide wire(1), a distal balloon(2), a sheath, and a plurality of crushing wires(30). The guide wire is inserted into blood vessels. The distal balloon is formed in the distal part of the guide wire and adheres closely to the inner wall of the blood vessels. The sheath surrounds the guide wire and is formed with a plurality of intake holes. The crushing wire is installed in the guide wire and crushes thrombus inside the blood vessels. The crushing wire is restored by elasticity.
