<p>PURPOSE: A three-dimensional image decoding apparatus and a method thereof are provided to calculate blurring of an image due to overlapped part by disassembling a part where is overlapped in a boundary. CONSTITUTION: An image obtaining unit(301) obtains a plurality of magnetic resonance images at respectively different angles in an interest area of a subject. A three-dimensional image restoring unit(305) restores a three-dimensional image by using a plurality of the magnetic resonance images. A plurality of the magnetic resonance images includes thickness direction information of the interest area. The interest area is formed on a Z-surface.
