PURPOSE: A system and method for supplying fuel gas for a high pressure injection engine are provided to rapidly perform a cooling process using liquid nitrogen in a preliminary cooling process. CONSTITUTION: A method for supplying fuel gas for a high pressure injection engine supplies LNG to the high pressure gas injection engine from a LNG storage tank(101). One or more equipment that the LNG passes through is cooled by liquid nitrogen. The equipment is maintained in a cooling state by the LNG. The equipment is cooled in advance by supplying the liquid nitrogen before the LNG is supplied to the high pressure gas injection engine. The liquid nitrogen used for pre-cooling the equipment is vaporized and discharged.
