PURPOSE: A Method for calculating an indoor walking position is provided to check an accurate position of an indoor user at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A walking navigation terminal sets a position of a user as an initial position by communicating with a reference AP(Access Point)(S401,S402). The walking navigation terminal calculates a current position with a signal sensed by an acceleration sensor, a gyro sensor, and an electronic compass(S403). The walking navigation terminal calculates a walking path with an accumulated value(S404). If the strength of a signal received from a position correcting AP is greater than a fixed value, the walking navigation terminal determines a user is located on an installation position of the position correcting AP(S405). The walking navigation terminal checks fixed position coordinates of the position correcting AP(S406). The walking navigation terminal compares current position coordinates with the fixed position coordinates. If the coordinates are not matched, the walking navigation terminal changes the current position coordinates into the fixed position coordinates and checks an error degree(S407). The walking navigation terminal corrects the walking path based on the checked error and checks an X-axis correction value and an Y-axis correction value (S408). The walking navigation terminal reduces the error by applying the checked X-axis correction value and the checked Y-axis correction value to current position calculation(S409).
