<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate images to be easily stereoscopically viewed by effectively suppressing the occurrence of a binocular rivalry. <P>SOLUTION: A left-eye image feature point extraction part 13b and a right-eye image feature point extraction part 13d extract feature points respectively from a left-eye image and a right-eye image. When the feature points of one of the image between the left-eye image and the right-eye image extracted by the left-eye image feature point extraction part 13b and the right-eye image feature point extraction part 13d are horizontally moved by predetermined distance, a non-corresponding point number calculation part 13g calculates the number of the feature points of the one image, which are not corresponding to the feature points of the other image, for each movement distance.
