<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of performing control in such a way that, if a person having a cold is included in occupants riding a vehicle, virus or the like of the person having a cold is prevented from diffusing near other occupants. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner detects body temperature of an occupant with a temperature sensor 12, and when the body temperature is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature, the air conditioner determines that the occupant has a cold. When the person having a cold is seated on a seat in the vehicle, the air conditioner controls an external air introduction mode or an internal air circulation mode when controlling air conditioning, and controls a blowing port and an air blow volume for each seat in accordance with the seat on which the person having a cold is seated. When a driver has a cold, a blowing port at the foot of the driver seat is used while a ventilator in a passenger seat and a ventilator in a rear seat are used as blowing ports. Moreover, an air volume blown out from the blowing port at the foot of the driver seat is decreased. Consequently, an air stream passing near the driver does not flow toward other seat sides but is introduced into an internal air suction port, thereby decreasing the probability of infection of other occupants caused by germs, virus or the like of the person having a cold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
