PURPOSE: A lower support structure of a container forming press machine is provided to effectively support high pressure and impacts transmitted to a base member during a forging process by making the base member contact the top surfaces of a lower mold support and a lower mold holder simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: A lower support structure of a container forming press machine comprises a lower bed(162), a lower mold support(163), a lower mold holder(164), and a base member(173). The lower mold support and the lower mold holder are installed on the lower bed so that a lower mold(150) is installed on the upper side of the lower mold support and the lower mold holder surrounds the lower mold support. The base member tightly supports the edge of a forming member(190) with an upper mold and surrounds the periphery of the lower mold. As the lower mold support has a diameter greater than that of the lower mold, the top surface of the lower mold support is exposed along the periphery of the lower mold and the base member is supported on the top surface of the lower mold holder and the exposed top surface of the lower mold support.
