Easy-sliding, two-rein ring spindle lunge with intermediate rope piece for training/exercising of riding horses

Easy-sliding two-rein ring spindle lunge with intermediate rope piece, consisting of a lunge harness (A) with fastening straps (A1, A2, A3), and two lunge reins, for training and exercising of riding horses. Previous lunge bridles prevented an optimum gymnastic exercising of the horse as they made possible neither a flexible action on the holding of the head in an upright position (= neck bending) nor a greater freedom of the neck of the horse without interrupting the movement processes or falsifying a correct rein action. Bridling and mode of action of the lunge (drawing): the lunge reins are fastened on the girth on both sides of the horse (D1), run as intermediate rope pieces (D2) through the snaffle rings, then through the lunge guide rings (B1, B2) and subsequently into the hand of the lunge operator (D3). The spindles (C1, C2) can be fastened as required on the intermediate rope pieces. In interaction with the lunge guide rings, they thus limit the holding of the head in an upright position, whereas the freedom of the neck of the horse is preserved. The sliding rings on the lunge guide rings (not shown in the drawing) reduce friction and resistance on the lunge reins running through and thus considerably increase the capacity for sensitivity in the mouth of the horse. The slip gaps on the lunge guide rings (SL) make possible rapid hinge refastening on changing hands by simple rehanging. <IMAGE>
