<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass product, which includes a process of cleaning a cerium-based polishing agent sticking to glass so as to satisfy a high requirement to cleaning without using hot concentrated sulfuric acid, after a process of polishing the glass by using the cerium-based polishing agent. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a glass product includes a polishing process of polishing glass with a cerium-based polishing agent containing lanthanum and a cleaning process of cleaning the glass with a cleaning solution after the polishing process. The cerium-based polishing agent containing lanthanum is a cerium-based polishing agent containing no LaOF crystal, and the cleaning solution is a cleaning solution containing at least one of ascorbic acid and erythorbic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
