<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider of a slide fastener, capable of being attached to a thick fabric by narrowing the gap between ends. <P>SOLUTION: The slider 1 of the slide fastener is characterized by adjustability of the gap between an upper wing plate 3 on the upper side of a body 2 and a lower wing plate 4 on the lower side of the body 2. A guide post 5 which connects the upper wing plate 3 to the lower wing plate 4 is formed of a screw, so that the gap between the upper wing plate 3 and the lower wing plate 4 can be adjusted.
