<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing invert manhole and a sewage basin capable of: preventing foreign odor, bad odor, etc. generated from drain water flowing along an invert or dirt and others accumulated on the invert from rising upward in a manhole body, filling the manhole body, leaking out of holes, clearance and others of a manhole cover and contaminating the surrounding environment; and eliminating a phenomenon in which a large amount of rain water rises in the manhole body, pushes up the manhole cover, leaks out on the ground to disrupt passing of vehicles and people, even when a large amount of rain water flows along the invert in the manhole. <P>SOLUTION: A deodorizing invert manhole 1 of this invention makes drain water flow inside of a manhole body 3 by installing a bottom slab 10 in which an invert 11 is formed at the bottom of the manhole body 3 buried in the ground and by connecting each of sewage pipes 12 and 13 to both edge parts of the invert 11 respectively.
