<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device where, in the case that a peripheral electrode for trapping ionic impurities is provided, a potential applied to the peripheral electrode can be prevented from exerting an electric influence on the periphery, and a projection display device and an electronic apparatus which include the same. <P>SOLUTION: On an element substrate 10 of a liquid crystal device 100, a first peripheral electrode 81 to which a first driving signal (common potential Vcom) is applied is provided in a peripheral region 10b interposed between an image display region 10a and a sealant 107. Meanwhile, a second peripheral electrode 82 to which a second driving signal Vtrap82 having the polarity is inverted in reference to the first driving signal (common potential Vcom) is applied and a third peripheral electrode 83 to which a third driving signal Vtrap83 having a polarity opposite to that of the second driving signal Vtrap82 in reference to the first driving signal (common potential Vcom) is applied are provided in a region facing the first peripheral electrode 81 on a counter substrate 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
