<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to recognize which character is input by operation on a touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: A portable telephone terminal (character input device) 1 includes: a touch panel 2 for detecting touch operation; a control unit 10 for displaying on the touch panel 2 plural buttons each associated with a character; and a vibration unit 4 for vibrating the touch panel 2. When a touch is started at a first position on the touch panel 2 displaying the plural buttons and then predetermined touch operation is detected with the touch to the touch panel 2 continuing, the control unit 10 receives as input a character corresponding to a button displayed at the position where the predetermined touch operation is detected and changes the way of vibration on the touch panel 2 by the vibration unit 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
