<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode manufacturing method and an electrode manufacturing device suitable for mass-producing electrodes by increasing a processing speed. <P>SOLUTION: In an electrode manufacturing method, laser is radiated on a belt-like electrode material 11, to which electrode active materials 4b, 6b are intermittently applied and dried on at least one face of a belt-like metal foil 12, and the belt-like electrode material 11 is cut, so as to manufacture an electrode. Then, a laser head 26 radiating laser is moved along a preset cutting face at a preset travel speed, so as to store and set laser light with energy strength corresponding to variation of the cutting face of the belt-like electrode material 11, to which the laser head 26 is directed, based on a lapsed time from a time when the laser head 26 starts moving. Then, the laser head 26 radiating laser is moved along the preset cutting face at the preset travel speed, so as to radiate, from the laser head 26, the laser light with the energy strength set and stored corresponding to the lapsed time from the time when the laser head 26 starts moving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
