<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of obtaining a size of an installation space of an opening fitting, capable of saving a labor cost and improving convenience of measurement. <P>SOLUTION: The method of obtaining a size of an installation space of an opening fitting, that is, a door or a window, comprises: a step (a) of providing a door (window) installation space having at least one side edge; a step (b) of installing a dimension calibration member to one side of the door (window) installation space; a step (c) of acquiring an image including the door (window) installation space and the dimension calibration member by utilizing an image capture device; a step (d) of transmitting the image to an image measurement system; and a step (e) of analyzing the image by utilizing the image measurement system, taking a proportional relation between the door (window) installation space and the dimension calibration member, and calculating an actual dimension of the door (window) installation space on the basis of the proportional relation of the image and the actual dimension of the dimension calibration member.
