摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device that can reduce unburned HC caused by adhesion of fuel to the bore wall of a cylinder and unburned HC/CO caused by excessive diffusion of the fuel in premixed compression ignition combustion. <P>SOLUTION: An injector control part of an ECU controls an injector to start an initial fuel injection when a crank angle corresponds to an initial fuel injection start time when a piston 4 arrives at such a position that the fuel injected from the injector reaches a lip part 7 but does not reach the bore wall face 3a of the cylinder 3. The injector control part controls the injector to terminate a final fuel injection when the crank angle corresponds to a final fuel injection end time when the piston 4 arrives at such a position that the fuel injected from the injector reaches the lip part 7 but does not reach a region below the lip part 7 in a cavity 6a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
