<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogenated ring-opening metathesis polymer having high transmittance, in which a double bond in the main chain is hydrogenated. <P>SOLUTION: A solution of a ring-opening metathesis polymer comprising a repeating structural unit [A] expressed by general formula (1) and a repeating structural unit [B] expressed by general formula (2) is subjected to hydrogenation to a double bond in the main chain by use of an organic metal complex that is prepared by bringing a specified organic metal complex into contact with at least two molar times of carbon monoxide. In general formula (1), at least one in R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>is selected from an alkoxycarbonyl having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyloxycarbonyl having 3 to 20 carbon atoms and alkoxycarbonyl alkyloxycarbonyl having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, and others are selected from hydrogen, an alkyl having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, alkoxy having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyl having 2 to 20 carbon atoms and aryloxycarbonyl having 6 to 20 carbon atoms; X<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is selected from -O- and -CR<SP POS="POST">5</SP>R<SP POS="POST">6</SP>- (wherein R<SP POS="POST">5</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">6</SP>each represents hydrogen or an alkyl having 1 to 20 carbon atoms), and may be the same or different from one another; and j is selected from 0 and 1. In general formula (2), R<SP POS="POST">7</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">10</SP>are each independently selected from hydrogen or an alkyl having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; and X<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is selected from -O- and -CR<SP POS="POST">11</SP>R<SP POS="POST">12</SP>- (wherein R<SP POS="POST">11</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">12</SP>each represents hydrogen or an alkyl having 1 to 20 carbon atoms). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
