<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for simply removing slag stuck to an immersion tube in an RH vacuum degassing apparatus, with which the slag stuck to the immersion tube in the RH vacuum degassing apparatus can be simply and efficiently removed. <P>SOLUTION: The device 10 for simply removing the slag stuck to the immersion tube, is constituted of a part 30 to which an immersion tube lower end surface stuck slag removing edge 31 for removing the slag stuck to the lower end surface of the immersion tube 1 is attached, and a part 20 to which a stuck slag removing edge 21 between the immersion tubes for removing the slag stuck between immersion tubes 1 is attached, and even when a load exceeding the strength of the device 10 is applied to the device 10 by deformation of the immersion tube 1, the device 10 is protected by the inclination of the slag removing edges 21, 31 by springs 32 and shearing by a shear pin, and the device 10 can be easily and rapidly restored by manpower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
