<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partial renewal construction method of a shell plate for towers and vessels, capable of reducing construction steps and shortening a construction period while preventing buckling. <P>SOLUTION: In a partial renewal construction method for renewing a cylindrical shell plate part 2 which is part of a shell plate 1 of a main distillation tower, the cylindrical shell plate part 2 is divided into eight parts a, b consisting of the parts a and the parts b alternately arranged circumferentially around the cylindrical shell plate part 2. The parts a, b are divided into a first group A consisting of four parts a alternately arranged circumferentially and a second group B consisting of four parts b alternately arranged circumferentially. Each part a of the first group A is cut off and removed, and a new partial shell plate 7a is mounted in an opening 6a produced by the removal, and thereafter, each part b of the second group B is cut off and removed, and a new partial shell plate 7b is mounted in an opening 6b produced by the removal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
