<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording aqueous pigment ink that can suppress sedimentation of a pigment resulting from aggregation and excellent in dispersion stability of a self-dispersing pigment. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording aqueous pigment ink contains a self-dispersing pigment, a quaternary amino acid and alkane diol.
