<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage on a CV cable, including a wire shield layer 6 having a ground fault capacity of 30 kA or above, at the time of ground fault by arranging so that the ground fault current flows to all copper wires making up the wire shield layer substantially uniformly at the time of ground fault. <P>SOLUTION: On the wire shield layer 6, a gap winding layer 9 of a braided thin copper wire tape is provided in contact with the wire shield layer. Since the electrical resistance between the copper wires making up the wire shield layer 6 can be decreased, the ground fault current flowing through the wire shield layer 6 can be prevented from being one-sided, and the cable can be prevented from being damaged at the time of ground fault. Since the braided thin copper wire tape is flexible and gap winding is employed, the tightening and slacking movement of the wire shield layer corresponding to expansion and contraction of the cable core based on the temperature change is not impeded, and thereby expansion and contraction of the cable core is not inhibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
