<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water repellent treatment agent which can secure excellent water repellency-imparting effect and improving effect of waterdrop falling properties without using a perfluoroalkyl group having 8 or more carbon atoms, that is said to have high bioaccumlation potential, and impart excellent water repellency and antifouling properties to a treatment object surface, and further is soluble to organic solvent, and to provide a method for producing the water repellent treatment agent. <P>SOLUTION: The water repellent treatment agent includes a hydrolysate obtained by hydrolyzing a perfluorooxyalkylene group-containing organic silicon compound represented by general formula (I) in a 4-11C tertiary alcohol, wherein X<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, X<SP POS="POST">2</SP>are hydrolyzable group, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>are lower alkyl or phenyl, Q<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, Q<SP POS="POST">2</SP>are divalent organic group, m is 4 or 5, n is 2 or 3, and each of x and y is an integer of 1-3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
