<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device, an electronic device, and a portable terminal capable of improving visibility. <P>SOLUTION: An input device X1 includes: a base body 2; first detection electrode patterns 3a and 3b provided in a first direction on the base body 2 corresponding to an input area E<SB POS="POST">I</SB>; second detection electrode patterns 4a and 4b provided in a second direction on the base body 2 corresponding to the input area E<SB POS="POST">I</SB>; a first insulator 5 provided on the base body 2 corresponding to the input area E<SB POS="POST">I</SB>, for electrically insulating the first detection electrode patterns 3a and 3b and the second detection electrode patterns 4a and 4b; a wiring conductor 6 provided on the base body 2 corresponding to an outer side area E<SB POS="POST">O</SB>and electrically connected with the first detection electrode patterns 3a and 3b and the second detection electrode patterns 4a and 4b; and a second insulator 7 provided on the base body 2 corresponding to the outer side area E<SB POS="POST">O</SB>and covering the wiring conductor 6.
