<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming an insert collar, finished products of which have neither seams nor connected portions, and which has high circularity and vertical flatness, in which all steps are carried out by a series of continuous steps to significantly improve fabrication efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The method of forming the insert collar is a method of using a progressive feeding die 2, and includes the steps of feeding a long-sized metal plate 1 by one pitch to a progressive feeding die, processing the metal plate 1 individually in each stage, sequentially feeding the metal plate 1 to a next stage for application of additional processing, and completing the processing in a final stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
