<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal control system that can efficiently detect a pedestrian and a vehicle by a single detection device to control a signal device appropriately. <P>SOLUTION: A signal control system includes: a camera 4 for obtaining an image of a crosswalk 2; a signal control device 6 for controlling lighting of a signal device disposed at the crosswalk 2; a detecting device 5 including an image processing part 9 including a detection object selecting part 10 for selecting a detection object on the basis of lighting color information transmitted from the signal control device 6, a pedestrian detecting part 11 for detecting a pedestrian from the image of the camera 4 when the pedestrian is selected by the detection object selecting part 10, and a vehicle detecting part 12 for detecting a vehicle from the image of the camera 4 when the vehicle is selected by the detection object selecting part 10; and the signal control device 6 for controlling lighting of a signal device 3 for pedestrians on the basis of the detection result of the pedestrian or the vehicle by the detecting device 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
