<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of improving maintainability and degree of freedom of a structure. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an optical lens; an image element; a light control unit; and a support member. The optical lens includes an optical axis in a first axial direction. The image element opposes to the optical lens in the first axial direction. The light control unit includes a light control part for modulating an incident light flux from the optical lens to the image element, and the light control part is arranged on the optical axis by being mounted between the optical lens and image element from a second axial direction orthogonal to the first axial direction. The support member includes a first support part for supporting the optical lens, a second support part for supporting the image element, and a connection part for connecting the first and second support parts with each other.
