Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention is a method for displaying micro blog messages, comprising: when a user queries a group name list, a micro blog terminal sends a group name list acquisition request to a micro blog server, and receives and displays the group name list of the user returned by the micro blog server; when the user selects any one micro blog group from the group name list, the micro blog terminal writes the name of the selected micro blog group in a new message display page, sends a message list acquisition request to the micro blog server, receives the message list of the selected micro blog group returned by the micro blog server, and displays the message list in the new message display page. Also disclosed in the embodiment of the present invention are a system for displaying a micro blog message, a micro blog terminal, a micro blog server and a storage medium. According to the present invention, messages on micro blog homepage can be effectively organized and displayed so that the user is capable of quickly and effectively viewing the micro blog messages of interest, thereby improving micro blog homepage usage efficiency.
