<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a liquid level of a refrigerant tank. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal connection part 1 for a cryogenic cable 10 having a heat insulation tube 12 for accommodating a cable core together with a liquid coolant, includes: a refrigerant tank 21 in which a liquid coolant layer and a gas coolant layer are formed; a lead-out conductor 31 connected to the cryogenic cable and pulled up to a normal-temperature part; an insulation member 41 disposed on the lead-out conductor; a first circulation cooling system for supplying the refrigerant tank with a liquid coolant; an auxiliary cooling mechanism 60 for cooling a liquid level position S in the refrigerant tank; and a second circulation cooling system 70 connected to the auxiliary cooling mechanism. Based on the liquid level height, the terminal connection part switches on and off a heater 133 for heating a reservoir tank 85 of the first circulation cooling system 80 in order to control the liquid level height in the refrigerant tank within the target range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
