<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle for continuous casting excellent in thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A first raw material containing alumina, zirconia, carbon, and organic binder (binder) is blended. Then, a pressure is applied to the blended first raw material, and the pressurized first raw material is burned. The burned first raw material is crushed, thereby generating an alumina-carbonaceous refractory raw material. A second raw material containing 5-80 mass% of the alumina-carbonaceous refractory raw material and the organic binder (binder) is blended, and the blended second raw material is molded, thereby structuring the nozzle for the continuous casting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
