<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the absorption and desorption of moisture and reduce warpage caused by the absorption and desorption of moisture by laminating a laminated veneer plate on a back face of woody fiberboard and forming recessed grooves on the back face. <P>SOLUTION: This woody wall material 1A at least includes the woody fiberboard 2A and the laminated veneer plate 3A joined to the back face 22A of the woody fiberboard 2A.
