<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb structure excellent in cleaning ability of NOx and capable of suppressing damage because a honeycomb unit contracts or expands even though water is adsorbed on the honeycomb unit or water adsorbed on the honeycomb unit desorbs; and to provide an exhaust gas-cleaning device having the honeycomb structure. <P>SOLUTION: The honeycomb structure 10 has a honeycomb unit 11 which contains β-type zeolite, phosphate-based zeolite, and an inorganic binder and in which a plurality of through holes arranged parallel in a longitudinal direction while being spaced by partitioning walls, the average particle size of a secondary particle is 0.5 μm to 5 μm in the β-type zeolite, the average particle size of a primary particle is 0.5 μm to 5 μm in the phosphate-based zeolite, and the ratio of mass of the phosphate-based zeolite to the total mass of the β-type zeolite and the phosphate-based zeolite is 5% to 35%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
