<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stripping system having a stripping shoe and a robust compliant tip that maintains an effective nip pressure profile at a fusing nip. <P>SOLUTION: A belt-roll fuser stripping system has a stripping shoe 215 and a stripping shim 220. The stripping shim 220 is supported by a support member 230.
