<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device that is user-friendly in both hand-held use and table-placed use, and is highly reliable with respect to external impact. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device comprises: a main body part 1 that has a front surface on which a display panel 2 is disposed and a rear surface 3 that corresponds to a reverse surface of the front surface and is positioned on a rearward side of the front surface, the main body part being substantially rectangular in shape in a plan view from the front surface side; and a support member 4 that has a pair of leg parts 11 and a connection part 14 that connects end parts on one side of the pair of leg parts 11 to each other. The other end parts of the leg parts 11 that are on a side different from the end parts connected by the connection part are attached to a pivot shaft 5 that is disposed on the rear surface side of the main body part 1, such that the support member 4 can pivot from a position at which the connection part 14 protrudes outward beyond an outer edge 1a of the main body part 1 in a plan view from the front surface side of the main body part 1, and at least a portion of the support member 4 is at the same position as or a position more rearward than a portion of the main body part 1 that protrudes most rearward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
