<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shovel for smoothing movements of an excavation attachment in the second half of an excavation operation. <P>SOLUTION: The shovel according to this invention comprises: an engine 11; a hydraulic pump 14 driven by the engine 11; the excavation attachment driven by pressure oil discharged by the hydraulic pump 14; a motor generator 12 for assisting the drive of the engine 11; and an assist control part 301 for assisting the engine 11 by the motor generator 12 in the second half of the excavation operation by the excavation attachment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
