<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable cutter capable of reducing an adverse effect on parallelism between a blade and a base side surface, and capable of stabilizing fixing between a body and a link. <P>SOLUTION: An opposite side of a link pressing surface of a fixing member 11 is a tilt surface 13. In a shaft member 10, a part fitted with the tilt surface 13 of the fixing member 11 is a tilt surface 12 of a conical side surface shape. The shaft member 10 has a screw 22 at its tip, and the screw part 22 is fitted with a side surface 4a of a saw cover 4.
