<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the transmission of the vibration of an engine to a vehicle body through a pulley arm in order to reduce the vibration of the vehicle body and muffled sounds. <P>SOLUTION: The device for retaining the tension of an auxiliary machine driving belt 8 that spans the distance between a crank pulley 4 fixed to a crankshaft 1a of the engine 1 located to the body of the vehicle, and an idle pulley 7 rotatably supported by the pulley arm 6 swingably provided for an auxiliary machine 3, includes a tensioning mechanism 11 that is interposed between the pulley arm 6 and the vehicle body, and provides tension for the auxiliary machine driving belt 8 by energizing in a direction that the pulley arm 6 is spaced from the crank pulley 4 using a spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
