HYDROCRACKING CATALYST AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING HYDROCARBON OIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrocracking catalyst providing a high middle distillate yield even in the stable period of the catalyst in the hydrocracking of a hydrocarbon raw material oil including a wax distillate for the purpose of producing the middle distillate and to provide a method for producing a hydrocarbon oil using the hydrocracking catalyst.

SOLUTION: This hydrocracking catalyst contains both a carrier containing zeolite and an amorphous composite metal oxide having solid acidity, and at least one type of active metal selected from the noble metals of group 8 to group 10 of the periodic table supported on the carrier. This hydrocracking catalyst contains a carbonaceous material containing carbon atoms, and the amount of the carbonaceous material contained in the hydrocracking catalyst is 0.05 to 1 mass% in terms of carbon atoms.
