The method involves introducing a contrast agent in a blood vessel of a patient through a test phantom (10). A liquid is flowed through hoses (16a,16b,20a,20b,26a,26b) or pipes to simulate the blood flow in the test phantom. The metal particles of the liquid are added in the blood for the simulation of the contrast agent. A device is induced to obtain the predetermined information on the test phantom on the basis an X-ray image of the test phantom. The obtained information is compared with the reference information. An independent claim is provided for a device for simulating the flowing blood marked with the contrast agent.
