The device has a horizontally placed drill pipe (1) and devices for coupling or decoupling the individual drill pipes, for lifting or lowering or pulling or sliding a drill pipe. The drill pipe passes into the desired drill direction by curving of a casing tube and of the curved drill pipe guided into it. A drill head is attached to the lower or front end of the drill pipe. The drill pipe led by a curved casing tube is attached to the lower or front ends of a drill head, which exposes the material using the high voltage-electric process.
