<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a leaf spring to appropriately hold a leader pin manufactured by die casting and having a parting line portion on which a flat portion is formed. <P>SOLUTION: A recording tape cartridge includes a leader pin 30 manufactured by die casting, attached to a free end Tf of a recording tape T and pulled out through an opening 18 formed in a case 12; a leaf spring 27 holding axial both ends 34 of the leader pin 30 so as to prevent the leader pin 30 from falling out from inside of the case 12 and, when the leader pin 30 is attached to and detached from the case 12, elastically deformed by being pressed by both ends 34 so as to allow an operation of attaching/detaching the leader pin 30; and a flat portion 34C formed in the leader pin 30 by removing a parting line portion of the leader pin 30. The leader pin 30 is attached to the free end Tf at an angle, with respect to a tension direction S of the free end Tf, at which the flat portion 34C formed on both ends 34 are not in contact with the leaf spring 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
