<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that has a simpler structure than before, whose frame area is hard to see, being capable of displaying an image having no seam when being subjected to tiling, having high display quality, and being suitable for thinning and weight saving. <P>SOLUTION: A display device includes: at least one display panel 10 having a display area 10A and a frame area 10F provided outside of the display area with a boundary extending in a first direction between the display area and frame area; and at least one translucent cover 14 disposed at the observer side of the at least one display panel. The at least one translucent cover has a lens part 141 disposed so as to stride over the boundary and refracting part of the light emitted from the display area to the frame area side. The observer's side face 1411 of the lens part is a curved surface and the back face side surface 1412 of the lens part is also a curved surface, both being a convex surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
