<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-Mg-Si-based alloy sheet that has enough moldability and strength as an automotive panel etc. and does not cause defective appearance after molding and coating under severe molding conditions, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy sheet for molding process is produced by subjecting an aluminum alloy containing 0.4-1.5 mass% of Si, 0.4-1.0 mass% of Mg, 0.1-1.0 mass% of Fe, and 0.1-0.5 mass% of Mn, with the balance comprising Al and unavoidable impurities to casting; homogenizing heat treatment; hot rolling such that the initiation temperature is 350-450°C and the end temperature is (445-3r)°C or more relative to the rolling reduction r% in the final pass; cold rolling; solution treatment; and quenching treatment. Furthermore, in the central part in the sheet thickness direction of a cross-section surface including the rolling direction, an Al-Mn-Fe(-Si)-based intermetallic compound with an equivalent circle diameter of 2.0 μm or more has an area rate of 0.4% or more and a number density of 1,350 pieces/mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
