MOBILE TERMINAL DEVICE AND SELF-DIAGNOSIS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a self-diagnosis with operation to an application of the mobile terminal device having a telephone function.

SOLUTION: The mobile terminal device comprises: a self-diagnosis processing part which diagnoses a failure of application according to operation of a user to the application to be diagnosed; a start menu change part which changes a start command so that the self-diagnosis processing part is activated to start the application; a self-diagnosis control part which executes the changed start command when designation of the application is received; a user display part which displays an operation procedure to be taken by the user before starting the application; a storage part which stores log data indicating user's operation results to the application by the self-diagnosis control part; and a diagnosis result transmitting part which transmits the log data to a remote management server which manages the failure of the application when a termination of the diagnosis is detected.
